Nominators and colleagues

“I know of no one whose contributions to architectural education are broader, more durable, or more generously shared than Dan Stine's. As a professor at the University of Minnesota, I taught myself Revit from his textbooks and built two computer-applications courses on that foundation.”

Abimbola O. Asojo, Ph.D. · Dean, School of Architecture + Planning, Morgan State University

“I have been impressed by his systems thinking, inclusive community-building, humble leadership, and tenacity. Dan always has the time to share what he knows and propel us all.”

Michelle Amt, FAIA · 2024 Chair, AIA Committee on the Environment
